I started to create an account and even had a couple of items in my shopping cart until I found out the outrageous shipping charges. I emptied the cart and didn't even finish providing the info they wanted but, sadly, they kept my email address and continuing sending me emails (at least two per day) even though I unsubscribed. Give them information at your own risk. Beware.
MELTED CHOCOLATES DELVERED
I ordered candies including six bags of chocolate goodies. On a 94 degree August day, the delivery company left items including six bags of melted chocolates. Globs of melted chocolate candies. I had requested tracking info updates that came three hours after order arrived. Candies were left out in direct sunlight by delivery service. I placed in fridge to see if I could salvage them but now hard bricks of globs. My email to customer service was ignored. I called to notify company of damaged goods only to hear that if I would have read all disclosures I would have known that they do not use cold packs in shipping so they can do nothing! So, NEVER ORDER ANY CHOLATE PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY IN WARM OR HOT WEATHER! They were not even marked perishable. True waste of money.
Bad customer service. Very rude!
Don't waste your time ordering or buying something from these jokers. They have the rudest customer service on the planet. They will argue with the customer. They are not very professional and they put their needs before the customer.

Light bulb lasted only an hour or 2
Light bulb lasted only an hour or 2. It was about $12 and I guess Blaine's expects me to pay $5 to ship it back - they don't include a return label.
We ordered nesting boxes from Blain. I was happy with the pricing but even more happy with the flat rate shipping. I looked at another company that charged a bit less for the product but then wanted to charge me over $50 for shipping. No thanks. Brains seems like a great company that offers products at a reasonable price and good quality.

Sent wrong product and failed to correct
I ordered 2 cases of Ziploc Medium Square boxes--see screenshot of order
They sent 2 cases of Ziploc Deep Square boxes--see photo
When I asked them to send me the correct item and a prepaid UPS return shipping label for the boxes they sent in error--they refused--wanted me to pay shipping for their error and the shipping to return their error.
Won't buy from these people again--probably should sue in conciliation court just to force them to hire attorney to show up and face me...

A friend of mine's child used to be employed here, and god might I say that I have heard very horrible things about this place. For starters, the management very obviously has favorites, and they treat their non-favorites poorly. She has told me that many times while she was on the clock, she simply checked the time on her apple watch, and got yelled at for supposedly being "distracted and unproductive.", but 10 feet away were other employees in other departments talking with the managers about a facebook post of some sort. She has also told me that most of the time, it is just her on the register. Not just at night, but during the day during busy shifts, like an 8-4 for example. Lastly, there's a lot of gossip amongst coworkers that gets spread around and talked about by everyone, including the mangers, even when it's someone's business outside of the workspace. They also are very terrible with giving minors the breaks that they are required to have. Now with all of that being said, DO NOT WORK HERE.
I go here every week to shop with my grandkids and my dogs. However, I have never had a problem with your employees until now! There is only one employee here that has gained my respect. I do not remember her name but she was lovely. I do remember it started with an H and she was the ONLY cashier. Anyways, to talk about your HORRIBLE staff is going to take a while. I walked in to get some dog food and snacks for my grandsons and was treated like a criminal. I was being followed by a tall man who was not wearing his name tag and was unable to find him after I told him off. After talking to this lovely lady who understood completely, she was not able to identify him either. After being followed (yes I know I was being followed. It was not secretive!) I decided to do a few laps around the store to see how the other employees were doing. One girl must've had a crush on a coworker because she was following him around and when I asked for directions to the bathroom she looked like me like I was interrupting her "very important" conversation. I was APALLED. How does she still have a job if she ain't helping nobody? Anyways my grandsons got cranky and wanted to cry in the middle of the store which usually isn't an issue since he's only 3! But, an employee who also did not have a name tag (big issue!) walked by and said to his little friend that he hates kids. Now I'm not a judging by all means but if you are on the clock your opinions should be kept to yourself. After getting all my groceries I headed to the register. There was only ONE cashier for a huge line! However the front desk was just sitting around and gossiping! I decided to check out at the front desk (huge mistake!). They were all rude. Now I'm a grandma, I don't like to raise my voice but when one of them started gossiping about her love life to another coworker I decided to say a few words. I told them why that lovely lady was the only cashier working when they could help her to make the line go by. But they simply disregarded my remarks. They kept gossiping. I got mad. I wanted to speak to a manager about everything that happened but I was told they were busy and would not be able to talk. So I tried calling and they hung up on me! I will NEVER come back!

WHEEL DAMAGE during tire installation…
WHEEL DAMAGE during tire installation on custom wheel. Took my truck to Blain’s in Freeport Il to have 6 tires installed 2 on steel wheels and 4 on custom wheels before they performed the install I met with the tire installer and asked him if he could do these wheels and told him if he wasn’t sure not to do them and I would go somewhere else and he said that it was no problem the machine doesn’t touch the wheel and I said that I didn’t want any damage to the wheels. So after the installation of the first custom wheel I inspected it and it was damaged dents, scratches, scraping needless to say I was LIVID. I immediately showed him the damage and he said he was sorry that it was a new machine and he was not familiar with it and he had to clamp the face of the wheel after I specifically told him that I didn’t want him to before installation also he said this was his first time balancing a custom wheel. WOW how exciting. I took pictures of the damaged wheel and told them to stop the installation of the other wheels. I then went to the manager who it was the assistant manager and she took pictures of the wheel and said she would submit it to the claims. I spent a month going back and forth with claims office and providing them with pictures and information needed. I called and called no response then I get a letter that claim denied. I called service manager and he said he would call me back and never did. I called corporate and talked with them and they said they would call me back and never did. I called district manager and left messages and he never called back. I went on line to customer service and he said he would make sure they would call me back and guess what, no one has called me back. ( I’m shocked ) this has been going on for over 3 months and I’m frustrated and fed up with this company. They need to step up take responsibility and replace the wheel and from what I can see I’m not alone with all the other bad reviews and complaints this company has. I guess it’s time to take legal action. SO SAD!!!
